Changing the cultural landscape of a community, through the arts.
The Old Firehouse is the longest running "All Ages" venue in the Northwest. As a co-founder and Program Director for seven years, I promoted the use of arts as a catalyst for youth leadership, development and civic engagement. The Old Firehouse has forever left its imprint of the Northwest music scene and the lives of thousands of teens forever.
Ground Zero is a collaboration between the City of Bellevue and the Boys and Girls Club of Bellevue. As a co-founder and the Music Director for six years, I created a blueprint for alternative programming for the National Boys and Girls Club that is still used today. Ground Zero has impacted local culture and changed lives since it's inception in 1993.
